December 21st, 2005:
Yes, this page has a severe lack of updates.. Too many hobbies, and the people I played JPN wargames with
no longer seem interested in them, and in turn, I haven't played them much lately.
I've had a few people email me that
translations for a few games exist, but just on paper (no downloadable files), and I added notes to mention as such.
My translation projects are on hold as I just don't have anyone local to play the games with.
The Feudal Lord (Samurai Lords) is now up for preorder by MMP however, and I still am
contributing to that effort (but those things take a long time)
On a side note, I can personally recommend "History of the Samurai", particularily to those who like "History of the World".
I will be running a "History of the World", a "Mermaid Rain" (boardgame) and a "Monster Maker" (card game) event, among many others, at Con of the North
in February (a boardgame convention in Minnesota).
August 29th, 2005:
Just not much new lately, so no updates. Finished playable rough drafts for
"History of the Samurai" (very good History of the World sibling/variant game) and
"Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire" English translations (Galactic Empire being rougher as the
original JPN rules were fairly rough). Emails to the party initially interested in Fleet Battles
have now gone unanswered. Probably will still work on it on and off, but its a big project, and without
the motivation of a company counting on me to finish it promptly, it may take a long while.
Also been translating "Fighting Dungeon" from RPG Gamer #10 for the heck of it, but rather slowly
as I doubt many others bought that magazine in the US unless they knew JPN ^_^ (and a
general lack of interest in my translation of what I consider a better game that was in RPG Gamer #6).
July 10th, 2005:
Added various recent releases from Kokusai Tsuushinsha, Simulation Journal, and Sunset games
Updated translation status
May 7th, 2005:
Added 2 more translations I just did, both for simple (2-3 page rules), long out of print Monster Maker boardgames. One is for Monster Maker:
Dragon Treasure, and one is for Monster Maker: Dragon Attack!. Both are listed in the translated boardgame section.

May 6th, 2005:
Switched the Monster Maker Wars Gaiden PDF to version 1.1. In my original one, on page 4, the pictures for Racoona and
Lolienne were transposed. Racoona (Royalist side 10) should have tanned skin and light brown/orange hair. Lolienne
should have blonde hair (the pics on page 5 are correct for both characters in both versions)

Control of ports (Umm Qsar and Al Faw):1 VP each

today, listed immediately below.

January 29th: Slight miss in my Iraq War 2003 translation, only change to v1.1:
Rule 7.2 Anti-Air Fire Against Ground Bombing 's rule (2) should be:
(2) When an Iraq Air Unit bombs a US & Br Coalition army unit, the US & Br Coalition Army unit can make one anti-air fire shot with an anti-air firepower value of 2"..
January 28th: Added translations (by other people this time) of Game Journal #1: G-Barbarossa, GJ #10: Storm Over Port Arthur, and
Ad Techno's SGB-11: Red Sun/Black Cross
January 26th: Finished my Iraq War 2003 English Translation. It's a 39-page PDF ..Yes, over twice as many pages as the original, but its a straight translation, there's
various reasons for the increase such as English text just taking more space, different formatting, and pictures not having text next to them.
January 17th: Added links to the free US version of the Leyte Gulf game that appeared in Game journal
#11, added BGG links to a few Game Journal games.
January 15th: Webpage launched. Yes, there's gaping holes of information; this is just my contribution so far to a group effort. I
will add information steadily as I have the time, as I learn more, and as others (perhaps you? please?) contribute information
